We believe Online Marketing is good for the environment. Take, for example, an Email Marketing campaign: compared to a traditional mail shot it uses at least 100% less paper. That's a lot of paper saved. Further to this, you can gain insights from an Email Campaign that simply aren't possible with traditional paper materials. For example, with an Email Marketing campaign, you can determine exactly how many people opened the communication, which links were most popular, and at what time of day your recipients preferred to read their mail - all important data. This makes us passionate about the benefits of the technology to the consumer and to the environment. As such, Berea have made a commitment to reduce their own dependence on paper-based materials by 50% by 2015. To make sure we don't inadvertently cause issues any where else, we'll be replacing materials with Green-certified IT resources. Where we do have to use paper, it will always be FSC-certified and sustainably sourced.
